Who this page is for

This page collects every live opening on Anmaya that can be done from home: telemedicine and online consultation roles, remote medical-advisory and content work, and any post an employer has marked remote or a member's notice describes as work from home. It covers all five AYUSH degrees — BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS and BSMS — and each card says which qualification the post names, where it names one. Posts from claim-verified institutions and posts shared by members are listed together, newest first.

What work-from-home AYUSH roles actually are

Four kinds of remote role recur. Online consultation for a clinic chain or telehealth platform: the employer supplies the patients and the software, the doctor consults by video or chat on a roster, and prescriptions are dispensed through the platform's pharmacy or the patient's own. Homoeopathy and Ayurveda lifestyle consultations suit this best, and Naturopathy and Yoga therapy sessions are increasingly delivered this way. Medical advisory and content for AYUSH manufacturers, wellness brands and health publishers: reviewing formulations, writing dosha- or constitution-based guidance, answering customer questions, training sales teams. Remote academic and research work: literature review, data entry for clinical studies at research councils, examination-paper evaluation. Programme delivery: online yoga-therapy courses, diet and lifestyle coaching cohorts, corporate wellness webinars.

What these roles are not: a licence to prescribe modern medicines remotely. The scope of practice follows the degree and the state's rules exactly as it does in a clinic, and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 (and the AYUSH telemedicine guidelines that follow them) govern first consultations, prescriptions and record-keeping.

Typical pay

Remote pay varies more than clinic pay because it is often per consultation or per hour. Platform consultation roles commonly pay ₹150 to ₹500 a consultation or ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 a month on a fixed roster, varying by state and system. Medical-advisory and content roles range from ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 a month for full-time work, with part-time and project rates below that. Programme-delivery pay is per cohort or session. Where an employer has stated a band on Anmaya it appears on the listing; where it has not, ask — and ask specifically whether the figure is gross, whether equipment and connectivity are provided, and who holds the patient relationship.

Registration

Every remote clinical role still requires registration with the relevant council — NCISM for Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha, NCH for Homoeopathy, the state board for Naturopathy and Yoga — and the platform will ask for the registration number before you go live. The Anmaya Verified mark on a profile means an ops reviewer has checked that credential against the council record, which is why platforms that post here can shortlist faster.

How applying through Anmaya works

Employer posts carry an Apply button for verified members. Your Anmaya profile and attached résumé go to the employer, who sees that your credential has been checked. There is no fee to apply and no fee to post. Community posts are notices shared by members and carry the contact the poster gave; you apply directly to that contact. Every community post is reviewed before publishing and expires after thirty days.

If you are an AYUSH doctor looking for remote work and have not joined yet, a free verified profile is how the platforms and brands that post here find you. Set your profile to show that you consult online, and the weekly jobs email will bring you the new remote posts.

Frequently asked questions

Can a BAMS doctor work from home legally?
Yes, within the scope of Ayurveda practice and under the telemedicine guidelines: online Ayurveda consultation, lifestyle and diet guidance, Panchakarma follow-up and medical-advisory work are all done remotely today. Prescribing modern medicines is governed by state rules and is not permitted in most states, in person or online.
How do I tell a real remote job from a lead-generation scheme?
A real employer names the organisation, states who holds the patient relationship, pays a stated rate on a stated schedule and never asks the doctor to pay for a listing, training or software. Posts on Anmaya from claim-verified institutions carry the Employer mark; community notices are reviewed before publishing. Report anything that asks you for money.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop or phone with a camera, a stable connection, a quiet space and, for platform roles, the platform's consultation software. Some employers provide a stipend for connectivity; the listing or the interview should say.
Are remote jobs full-time?
Mostly roster-based or part-time: a fixed number of hours or consultations a week. Full-time remote posts exist in medical advisory and content, and some chains run full-time online consultant rosters.
Do online consultations count as experience?
Yes. Councils and employers treat registered, documented online practice as clinical experience; keep records as the telemedicine guidelines require and note the role on your Anmaya profile.
