Who this page is for
BHMS — Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery — is the five-and-a-half-year degree, internship included, that qualifies a graduate to practise Homoeopathy in India. Every listing on this page names BHMS as a required or accepted qualification, either as the employer's structured requirement or in the text of a notice a verified member has shared. Posts from claim-verified institutions and posts shared by members are listed together, newest first, and each card says which it is.
Where BHMS roles cluster
Homoeopathy hiring has a shape of its own. Clinic chains and multi-centre practices are the largest private employer group: the national and regional homoeopathy chains recruit BHMS doctors for consultation, case-taking and follow-up across dozens of centres, and these posts are the ones that recur most often. Government medical officer posts come through state Homoeopathy departments, the National AYUSH Mission, ESIC and the CGHS homoeopathy dispensaries in the larger cities. Teaching posts — tutor, lecturer, assistant professor — come from Homoeopathic medical colleges and require a postgraduate degree for anything above tutor. Telemedicine and online consultation has suited Homoeopathy well, because case-taking is conversational; many of the work-from-home openings on Anmaya are Homoeopathy roles. Pharma, research and documentation roles at Homoeopathic manufacturers and at the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy round out the field.
Maharashtra, Kerala, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi carry the most postings, following the distribution of Homoeopathic colleges and clinic chains.
Typical pay
Pay varies by state, sector and experience, so treat these as ranges rather than offers. A fresh BHMS graduate at a private clinic or chain typically starts between ₹18,000 and ₹35,000 a month, with chains often adding a consultation-linked incentive. Government medical officer posts are paid on state scales, commonly ₹40,000 to ₹65,000 a month on contract and more on regular appointment. Teaching posts follow the college's structure, graded by NCH minimum-qualification requirements. Established consultants with their own practice or a senior role in a chain earn well beyond these bands. Where an employer has stated a salary band on Anmaya it appears on the listing; where it has not, ask before you apply.
Registration
To practise, a BHMS graduate must be registered with their State Homoeopathy Board (or council) and, under the National Commission for Homoeopathy Act 2020, appear on the NCH register. Employers on Anmaya can ask for your registration number, and the Anmaya Verified mark on a profile means an ops reviewer has checked that credential against the council record. Registration rules differ by state; your state board is the authority for your own case.
How applying through Anmaya works
Employer posts carry an Apply button for verified members. Your Anmaya profile and attached résumé go to the employer, who sees that your credential has been checked. There is no fee to apply and no fee to post. Community posts are notices shared by members and carry the contact the poster gave; you apply directly to that contact. Every community post is reviewed before publishing and expires after thirty days, so what you see here is current.
If you are a BHMS graduate who has not joined yet, a free verified profile is how the employers who post here find you, and how the weekly jobs email reaches you.
