Jobs for BNYS doctors

9 live openings from verified employers and members, newest first

Who this page is for

BNYS — Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences — is the five-and-a-half-year degree, internship included, that qualifies a graduate to practise Naturopathy and Yoga therapy in India. Every listing on this page names BNYS as a required or accepted qualification, either as the employer's structured requirement or in the text of a notice a verified member has shared. Posts from claim-verified institutions and posts shared by members are listed together, newest first, and each card says which it is.

Where BNYS roles cluster

BNYS hiring looks different from the other AYUSH degrees because much of it sits outside hospitals. Naturopathy hospitals and residential centres — the large yoga-and-nature-cure institutions in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra and the hill states — hire BNYS doctors for in-patient programmes, diet therapy, hydrotherapy and yoga supervision. Wellness resorts, spas and corporate wellness programmes are the fastest-growing private employer group; roles here are often titled wellness physician, yoga therapist or lifestyle consultant. Government posts come through state AYUSH departments and the National AYUSH Mission's wellness centres, and through the Ministry of AYUSH's yoga and naturopathy institutions. Teaching posts come from Naturopathy and Yoga colleges and need a postgraduate degree above tutor. Online and work-from-home roles — yoga therapy sessions, diet and lifestyle coaching, telehealth wellness — are common and sit in the work-from-home hub as well as here.

Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Uttarakhand carry the most postings.

Typical pay

Pay varies by state, sector and experience, so treat these as ranges rather than offers. A fresh BNYS graduate at a naturopathy hospital or wellness centre typically starts between ₹18,000 and ₹35,000 a month, often with accommodation and meals at residential centres. Government medical officer and yoga-wellness posts are paid on state scales, commonly ₹35,000 to ₹60,000 a month on contract. Resort and corporate wellness roles range widely and are frequently session- or programme-based. Teaching posts follow the college's structure. Where an employer has stated a salary band on Anmaya it appears on the listing; where it has not, ask before you apply.

Registration

Registration for BNYS graduates is state-level: several states run a Naturopathy and Yoga council or register BNYS doctors through their AYUSH or Indian Medicine board, while others have no separate register yet. There is no national commission for Naturopathy and Yoga as there is for Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha (NCISM) or Homoeopathy (NCH), so employers rely on the degree certificate and, where it exists, the state registration. The Anmaya Verified mark on a profile means an ops reviewer has checked the credential presented. Your state AYUSH department is the authority for your own case.

How applying through Anmaya works

Employer posts carry an Apply button for verified members. Your Anmaya profile and attached résumé go to the employer, who sees that your credential has been checked. There is no fee to apply and no fee to post. Community posts are notices shared by members and carry the contact the poster gave; you apply directly to that contact. Every community post is reviewed before publishing and expires after thirty days, so what you see here is current.

If you are a BNYS graduate who has not joined yet, a free verified profile is how the wellness centres and hospitals that post here find you, and how the weekly jobs email reaches you.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a yoga instructor post and a BNYS doctor post?
A yoga instructor post asks for a yoga teaching certification and leads group classes. A BNYS doctor post is a clinical role: assessment, individual yoga therapy prescription, naturopathic treatment planning and supervision of diet and hydrotherapy. Listings on this page are the second kind, though many ask for both.
Can a BNYS doctor work in a hospital?
Yes — naturopathy hospitals, integrative medicine departments and AYUSH wings of larger hospitals hire BNYS doctors for in-patient and OPD programmes. Prescribing modern medicines is outside the scope of practice.
Is residential-centre work full-time?
Usually, with accommodation. Residential naturopathy centres run continuous in-patient programmes, so rosters include early-morning yoga and evening rounds; the listing should state the roster and what is provided on site.
Are there government jobs for BNYS graduates?
Yes, though fewer than for BAMS or BHMS: state AYUSH departments, the National AYUSH Mission's wellness centres and the Ministry of AYUSH's institutes appoint BNYS medical officers and yoga-wellness consultants. The Government hub collects every notice that reads as a public-sector post.
Are the employers on this page verified?
Posts marked **Employer** come from institutions whose claim to their organisation page has been checked by Anmaya ops. Posts marked **Community** are shared by verified members in good faith and reviewed before publishing, but Anmaya does not verify the employer behind a community notice the way it verifies a claimed institution.
