INTEGRATIVE NATUROPATHY CARE: A CASE REPORT
As a practitioner specializing in Yoga & Naturopathy (BNYS) with a focus on Diet & Nutrition, Diet Therapy, Integrative Clinical Practice, Integrative Pain Medicine, and Lifestyle Disease Management, I frequently encounter patients presenting with interconnected health challenges. In this article, I present a clinical case managed at Shri Sivalaya Holistic Natural Healing Hospital, Kangayam.
Patient Presentation and Initial Assessment
A 51-year-old male patient arrived at our facility with multiple health concerns. His chief complaints included:
- Elevated uric acid
- Blood-pressure variation
- Constipation and weight management difficulties
- Heel pain
- Disturbed sleep
During the initial physical assessment, his recorded weight was approximately 81.5 kg, and his height was measured at 170 cm. His blood pressure reading appeared to be around 140/90 mmHg.
Diagnostic Investigations
To better understand his physiological baseline, clinical investigations were conducted. The results revealed the following values:
- Fasting Blood Glucose: 86.7 mg/dL
- HbA1c: 5.9%
- Uric Acid: 6.09 mg/dL
Clinical Approach
This case highlights the multi-system nature of modern lifestyle concerns, where issues such as weight management, blood pressure variation, pain, and metabolic markers overlap. By applying principles of Diet Therapy, Lifestyle Disease Management, and Integrative Clinical Practice, we address these interconnected symptoms comprehensively. Utilizing natural modalities allows us to focus on the root causes of discomfort—such as heel pain and disturbed sleep—while carefully monitoring clinical parameters like blood pressure and uric acid levels.
